Travelinck is an Anglo-Dutch company, based in Leiden, in the heartlands of the Dutch bulb-producing area. For individuals Travelinck offers a fully inclusive 19-day tour of the classic gardens of China.
Apart from visiting a number of gardens, several of the highlights of Chinese nature are included in the programme. As such, this is not only an ideal itinerary for garden-lovers but also it is an itinerary which offers a spectacular route for individuals primarily interested in nature and the landscapes it has carved. In Guilin, a boat trip along the River Li has been organised. This famous river meanders through a unique landscape composed of a myriad of limestone peaks jutting from an otherwise flat plain. Further along the route lies the Huangshan Mountain; from its mystic peaks, one can see the landscapes which have been recreated in the classic gardens in their full size and glory. It is this combination of natural and garden landscapes that allow a complete picture of the classic gardens and their sources of inspiration to be gleaned. Furthermore, several of the cultural highlights of China are included in the route, such as the Forbidden City in Beijing and the Great Wall.
